Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actor. His career began with television roles, including Opposite Sext in 2000. The actor gained acclaim for his character as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero, in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans was also seen in films that were based on comic books: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2013). In addition to his role as Steve Rogers/Captain America Evans was recognized for his work in his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War.
